LOCKDOWN LAUNCH

In a small London flat, Rukshan started experimenting — throwing bird's-eye chillies into a pan, adding coconut milk, and recreating flavours from his mum's spice box. No recipes, just memories.

What began as a lockdown hobby quickly turned into something bigger — a spark that became Sausome Creations, one spicy drop at a time.

FROM KITCHEN TABLE TO MARKET STALL

With a few empty bottles and a DIY label kit from YouTube, Rukshan started small.
Every label was stencilled by hand. Every batch was bottled late at night.
Pretty soon, neighbours weren't just curious — they wanted more.

NEW CITY, SAME FIRE

So, he packed up, moved to Glasgow with nothing but a suitcase and a few crates of sauce, and started sharing his flavours at local markets.
The response was huge. Even back in London, his sauces started popping up on deli shelves — proof that simple, bold flavours always stand out.

THE MARKET BUZZ

Armed with a borrowed gazebo and a crate of chilled sauces, Rukshan began touring weekend markets across Scotland — from Edinburgh to Aberdeen.
Samples got people talking. And those conversations turned into a loyal community of sauce fans.

Every stall was more than just selling bottles — it was about sharing a bit of Sri Lankan warmth, zero-waste values, and good food made with care.
